It was called SdKfz 10/5 and carried more advanced 20 mm FlaK 38 gun with higher rate of fire. Since 1942 some vehicles were additionally fitted with light armor to protect the cabin and engine compartment. Some SdKfz 10/4 and SdKfz 10/5 were completed without the weapon and served as ammunition carriers for the regular armed machines.
Beside these two official gun carriers, some SdKfz 10 were field-converted into self propelled anti tank guns armed with either 37 mm PaK 36 or 50 mm PaK 38 guns.
